The theatre department would like to invite you to an end-of-year celebratory night at the theatre next Wednesday, May 20th at 7:00 p.m.
At the heart of this performance will be this year’s Drama Majors presenting their final solo performances. These solo performances represent a culmination of a year of intensive study and an expression of each student’s approach to character development. You will witness their writing, directing, and performance all in one project.
Additionally, we will be sharing a live 10-minute play over Zoom. This play was written at the beginning of the shelter-in-place order and was a part of a challenge to create a play that takes place entirely over FaceTime. Lydia Riess ‘20 will be performing alongside alum Electra Carzis ‘16, and stage-managed by alum David Carzis ‘19. The play was written by me, Ms. Washburn.
